Take time to claim your strength; they are gifts of God.
Take time to have fun; it's God's way of teaching you your strengths.
Take time to grow yourself; only you can grow you.
Take time to trust yourself; God trusts you.
Take time to be self-reliant; it is better than being dependent.
Take time to share with others; they will bless you, and you will bless them.
Take time to have hope, you are a child of God.
Let's put ourselves into the hands of the Lord, and pray that God will bless us and our families during the wonderful months of summer.
May we all help make our home a place of relaxation, joy, love, peace and safety.
May we be generous and considerate, not thinking only about ourselves,
but helping others enjoy the blessings of a summertime.
Lord God, Creator of all things, guide our steps and strengthen our hearts,
during these months of summer and vacation days. Grant us refreshment of mind and body. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

With the ending of our school year, Mrs. Wojciakowski ends her 27 years as School Secretary. Words are paltry in trying to adequately thank her for the generous giving of her service and friendship to families, students and staff, both past and present. We depend on her for so much, and will surely realize how much in the months to come. The cart will always bear her nicknames, "Bushie Cart" and "Wojo Cart"!
Also with the end of this school year, Mrs. Doyle is retiring from full time teaching. She was hired in 2013 and so completes her 6th year as First Grade Teacher. She will remain at St. Patrick School, part time, in a student support/teaching function. Mrs. Doyle's organization, dedication, patience and talent as a teacher are extraordinary and have influenced dozens of students and their families.
In appreciation, let us pray:
We come to you in thankfulness for the many years of service given by our friends and colleagues who are retiring. We thank you for the long term contributions they have made in the execution of daily tasks, in their loyalty to our organization and in their sharing of their experience and wisdom with others. We are appreciative of their hard work and dedication. They have adapted to many changes over the years and have made sacrifices of their personal time when the job demanded it. They have been a mentor and friend to their fellow employees and have worked faithfully despite their own personal obligations, joys and challenges.
We pray your continued blessings on them during this next phase of their life. May your Presence be with them as they choose new paths and explore new horizons. May they be blessed with strong networks of friends and family to enjoy the journey that lies ahead. Keep them vigorous in body, mind, soul and spirit. Open new doors of service that will satisfy their desire to give and that will make a lasting difference in our world. May they find many receptive hearts and minds for the wisdom they have to offer and many recipients to receive their love and care.
Today we leave them with this blessing from the book of Matthew: "Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!" (Matthew 25:23)
And so we end our prayer, thankful for what has been and grateful for what has yet to be. - Karen Barber
There will be no Lowell buses through the end of the school year. June 7, and 10-11th, all students will need a ride to and from school. On the 11th, school is dismissed at 11:30. Thank you.

We have unused medications to send home now. When you are here in the next few days before school ends for the summer, please stop by the office to pick up your child's medication. Medicines not picked up will be disposed of. We start fresh in the fall. Thank you.

Volunteer Commitment Sign Up
Please sign up for your volunteer commitments - we thank you for your help.
Each family, as agreed when registering for the 2019-20 school year, is required to assist with community service and fundraising activities for our school. This list includes a variety of activities that are needed for our school to continue to support current programs, fulfill its mission, and remain viable. Events are "works in progress" and any changes to this list will be communicated as quickly as possible. Activities are available on a first come, first served basis. If you have a skill or interest you would like to share instead of something listed, please give the school office a call. We welcome your ideas and interests. Your commitment will be confirmed in September; more specific information about the events will be provided by the Coordinator as the date approaches.
Families with children in grades K- 8 are required to sign up for 2 events.
Families with children in Preschool and K-8 are required to sign up for 2 events.
Families with only Preschool and DK children are required to sign up for 1 event.
Please help us by selecting and signing up now for your service commitment in the upcoming school year. Thank you!
Families in K-8 have a lunch duty commitment. We need your assistance in order to have safe, organized and fun playground time. Generally your commitment is 1 week every other year. If you are unable to do lunch duty during your assigned week, you can switch with other parents for a schedule that works better for you; you can contact lunch subs (see list, $8/day). We are asking if possible, please work your lunch duty and also please consider making yourself available to sub for others. If we can add your name to the sub list, even if it is just one or two days a week, please let us know. It is a great way to see your kids during the day, bring them a special lunch, meet their friends and get some playtime for yourself.
Questions, contact the school office, 691-8833. Thank you for helping!

Did you know that with a little planning ahead, SCRIP can lead to big tuition savings? Last year, participating St. Patrick families saved a combined total of $5000 on their annual tuition costs! SCRIP is a program where gift cards or gift certificates are purchased and used for the full face value and a percentage of the face value is credited to a specific child’s tuition account. SCRIP can be used at participating grocery stores, gas stations, retail stores, fast food, full service restaurants, etc. Friends and relatives can also purchase SCRIP and apply their proceeds to a specific child’s tuition account.
Here’s how it works: Sign up for the SCRIP program at St. Patrick School and designate the tuition account for the proceeds to be applied. Place an order by Monday – either online or by dropping the order form and payment off, and orders are sent home on Thursdays. If SCRIPNow! is used online, SCRIP can be used within minutes. Now you can take your gift cards or certificates and use them as cash wherever you shop. For more information, or to register an account, please contact Kara Schut at 517-881-4091 or firstname.lastname@example.org To sign up online, please visit https://www.shopwithscrip.com/Login/Enroll The St. Patrick School enrollment code is D65LF3L2184
