Pie Sale Orders Begin!
Today marks the beginning of our school's largest fundraiser, Pie Sale! It runs from October 5 - November 5. Pie Assembly Saturday is November 17. If you signed up to work this event, please click here to select your work slot.
Students will bring home large manila envelopes today (one per family). In it you will find more details about our pie sale and an order form. Please return order forms and all money collected in that envelope. Top Selling Family receives a special gift!
The Pie Sale is a long time tradition at St. Patrick's - 20 years or more, but who is counting?? It is made possible by St. Patrick Parishioner family, Tom & Laura Heffron. Each year Tom & Laura save the BEST availability day for us (weekend before Thanksgiving!) and donate their time and some of the ingredients to insure we have a very profitable sale. The ingredients are for the most part local - the fruit is grown and/or processed by Tom & Laura, the flour is from King Milling in Lowell. It's a special heritage we have at St. Patrick's and these pies are part of it...not to mention they are delicious! There are parishioners and friends of the school who buy these pies year after year. Did we mention they make great gifts?
If you need additional order forms, please contact the school office. If you have any questions about the pie sale, please contact any of the PTO members at firstname.lastname@example.org

Season of Service: Overview
Season of Service is a program sponsored by the school student service group, St.ar Works, led by middleschoolers. They are sponsoring opportunities for you to show your support throughout the school year for a number of causes, including many that are close to the hearts of St. Patrick School families and may be encountered everyday in our school. Thank you for reviewing these opportunities to provide for others' needs. We hope that you will find something that will inspire you. As the event dates approach, watch for information in the Shamrock. And finally we ask for your prayers, knowing that the greatest action of all is to offer our needs to God. Thank you for your support.

Service Commitments for 2018-19
If you have not already signed up for volunteer activities, please click on the sign-up link above and add your help to the list!
Each family, as agreed to when registering, is required to assist with community service/fundraising activities for our school. This list includes a variety of activities that are needed for our school to continue to support current programs, fulfill its mission, and remain viable. Families with children in grades K- 8 are required to sign up for 2 events. Preschool and DK families are required to sign up for 1 event.
If you have a skill or interest you would like to share instead of something listed, please give the school office a call. We welcome your ideas and interests.
Events are "works in progress" and any changes to this list will be communicated as quickly as possible. Activities are available on a first come, first served basis. More specific information about the events will be provided by the Coordinator as the date approaches. Thank you!

6-8th: 11:30-12:00 (Lunch in classrooms); 3-5th: 11:50-12:35.

Did you know that with a little planning ahead, SCRIP can lead to big tuition savings? Last year, participating St. Patrick families saved a combined total of $5000 on their annual tuition costs! SCRIP is a program where gift cards or gift certificates are purchased and used for the full face value and a percentage of the face value is credited to a specific child’s tuition account. SCRIP can be used at participating grocery stores, gas stations, retail stores, fast food, full service restaurants, etc. Friends and relatives can also purchase SCRIP and apply their proceeds to a specific child’s tuition account.
Here’s how it works: Sign up for the SCRIP program at St. Patrick School and designate the tuition account for the proceeds to be applied. Place an order by Monday – either online or by dropping the order form and payment off, and orders are sent home on Thursdays. If SCRIPNow! is used online, SCRIP can be used within minutes. Now you can take your gift cards or certificates and use them as cash wherever you shop. For more information, or to register an account, please contact Kara Schut at 517-881-4091 or email@example.com To sign up online, please visit https://www.shopwithscrip.com/Login/Enroll The St. Patrick School enrollment code is D65LF3L2184
