Transitional Kindergarten Teacher (Full-Time)
Description:
Saint Patrick School (Parnell) is currently accepting applications for a Transitional Kindergarten (TK) Teacher.
The TK Program is currently structured as follows:
7:40am - 3:10pm, M-TH
Fridays are an “add-on” from 7:40am - 3:10pm.
Required Qualifications:
Practicing Catholic
Teacher certification
Child Development Associate credential (CDA), OR at minimum 1 year of early childhood experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Catechist Certification
Virtus Trained
Additional Certification in Reading and/or Orton Gillingham Trained
Catholic School Experience (Student and/or Teacher)

Employees will participate in 16 hours of on-going training yearly to meet childcare licensing regulations, as well as 9 hours of onboarding training through MI Registry.
After Care Specialist
(Part Time)
Description:
Saint Patrick School (Parnell) is currently accepting applications for an After Care Specialist.
The hours of the After Care program are M-Fri during days students are in school, M-Fri, from 3:15pm to 5:30pm. Job share is also an option.
Required Qualifications:
Must be 16 years of age or older
Willing to submit to various background checks including those completed through the Department of Human Services and the Michigan State Police Department
Be CPR, First Aid, and Blood Borne Pathogen certified or obtain certification upon hire
Complete a Tuberculosis test and physical and provide a physician’s documentation of both
Possess a strong work ethic, be punctual, and have minimal absences
Have dependable transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
Virtus Trained
